The Lone Tree Golf Club And Hotelis just one of many facilities owned and operated by South Suburban Parks and Recreation. The District serves the recreation needs of over 140,000 residents in seven cities, including Littleton, Lone Tree, Sheridan, Cherry Hill, Columbine Valley, Bow Mar and Centennial, as well as portions of unincorporated Arapahoe, Douglas, and Jefferson counties. The facility at Lone Tree features a 45,000 square foot clubhouse with intimate guest suites, meeting rooms and a championship Arnold Palmer designed 18-hole golf course. All of this is open to the public. The District has been awarded three National Golf Medals for Excellence in Park and Recreation Management. This recognition is the highest honor paid to any District in the nation by the National Sporting Goods Associations Sports Foundation Inc., in conjunction with the National Recreation and Parks Association. All suites have vaulted ceilings and are decorated with Queen Ann style furnishing. Most have balconies and all have gorgeous mountain views. The premiere suite is truly exceptional with a fireplace, sunken living room, and Jacuzzi tub. This suite is everyones favorite, and includes a complimentary continental breakfast.
